About

About Protocol5

Protocol5 is the parent public platform for two peer domains: Protocol5 Mathematics and Protocol5 UAI.

Origins

Protocol5.com

The older site described Protocol5 as a mathematical experiment by Long Term Software Solutions, Inc., created and maintained by Michael Kappel, MCPD. The current architecture keeps that mathematics history while adding UAI as a separate Protocol5 publication domain.

Technology

Then and now

The current version keeps the math-provider core, adds stronger testing, hosts a Blazor calculator shell, and publishes UAI pages, registries, schemas, and validation as a separate Protocol5 section.

Intent

A parent platform with peer sections

Protocol5 exists to publish distinct systems clearly: Mathematics for numeric tools and standards, UAI for structured communication and publication, and shared pages for project context.
